Services Recreation Ball Diamonds
Baseball is a very popular summer pastime in Ogema. Ogema has 3 baseball diamonds that are located North of Highway 13 on the south side of the railway tracks. One of the diamonds still utilizes the grandstand that was constructed in the 1920’s. This grandstand is one of the oldest grandstands in Saskatchewan.
There is one shale diamond which is used by the local men’s fastball team, the Ogema Colts. The Colts play in the Borderline Fastball League with competing teams coming from Ceylon, Weyburn, Lake Alma and Plentywood. The league starts in June and ends in August.
There is a local slow pitch league in town that holds games every Friday evening at 6:30 pm beginning the first week in June and ending the last week in July. Anyone interested in slow pitch can call Dustin Myren or Allison Frank at 306-459-9994.
