Ogema Grandstand

The Grandstand is almost a century old and in need of some major repairs. To keep this historic building in use we will need to lift it, level it, pour new concrete, as well as a facelift. The restoration project hopes to raise funds to do this.

The concrete pad was poured on Monday. The crew got an early start as it was going to be a hot one! I went to take photos at 9 a.m. and almost missed it!

Big shout out to Chase Johnson Construction for staying the day, finishing the concrete in the heat and then donated his time and labour to the project!! Thanks Chase!! He joins the long list of people who have supported this project with their time, skill and monetary support.
